Delete from the Solmate app
Open Solmate on your iPhone and follow these steps:
- Tap Settings in the bottom navigation.
- Open Profile or Account settings.
- Choose Delete Account & Data.
- Review what will be deleted and confirm the request.
- Complete any identity-verification step shown in the app.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email solmate.chat@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. Use the subject “Delete my Solmate account” and include your account email and sign-in provider. We may request limited additional information to verify ownership before acting.
Data included in deletion
- Account and profile information
- Conversation history and AI memory associated with the account
- Uploaded profile photos and user-provided media stored by Solmate
- Companion preferences, tasks, favourites, and app settings
- Generated-content records and support data, except where retention is legally required
Timing and exceptions
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Some information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups or be retained where required for fraud prevention, security, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Such retained information is isolated and deleted when the applicable retention period ends.
Google Sign-In access
Deleting your Solmate account removes the association between Solmate and your Google Sign-In identity after the deletion process completes. You may also revoke Solmate from your Google Account’s third-party connections page. Revoking Google access alone does not delete data already stored in your Solmate account, so use the deletion process above when you want the account and associated data removed.
Purchases and subscriptions
Deleting your Solmate account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel active subscriptions through iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Apple may retain transaction information under its own policies. Unused Sols and account-specific benefits are lost when deletion is completed.
