Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Solmate iOS app, this website, customer support, and related services. It explains what information we collect, why we use it, when it may be shared, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you.
Google Sign-In data
When you choose Sign in with Google, Solmate requests only the standard openid, email, and profile permissions. We may receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture when available. We use this information only to authenticate you, create and maintain your Solmate account, protect account security, and provide support.
Solmate does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, Google Photos, or other Google service content. Google account data received for sign-in is not sold, used for targeted advertising, or used to train unrelated AI models.
Other information we collect
- Account details, age confirmation, profile information, interests, and companion preferences
- Messages, voice messages, uploaded images, tasks, reminders, and generated-content requests
- Purchase records, subscription status, virtual-currency activity, and app settings
- Device, app-version, crash, diagnostic, security, and support information
How we use information
- Create, authenticate, secure, and maintain your account
- Provide conversations, memory, creative tools, tasks, reminders, and requested content
- Synchronize your experience and remember preferences you choose to provide
- Process purchases, restore entitlements, and respond to support requests
- Detect abuse, enforce our terms, improve reliability, and comply with law
Microphone, photos, and notifications
Microphone access is requested only when you choose to record a voice message. Photo access is requested when you choose to select or save an image. Notification permission may be requested for reminders and relevant app updates. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
AI processing and service providers
Messages and media may be processed by AI and infrastructure providers acting on our behalf to generate the experience you request. Authentication, cloud hosting, security, analytics, crash reporting, support, and payment providers may process limited data necessary to perform their services. Providers are expected to handle data under contractual and legal safeguards.
Selling, advertising, and disclosure
We do not sell personal information or Google user data. We do not use Google Sign-In data for targeted advertising. Information may be disclosed to processors operating the service, to protect users or the service, during a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only as long as needed to provide Solmate, protect the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may delete your account from the app or request deletion by email. Verified deletion requests are generally completed within 30 days, subject to limited legal, security, accounting, and backup exceptions.
Security and your choices
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure. You may update profile information, manage iOS permissions, revoke Google access, request access or correction, or request account and data deletion.
Age requirement and international use
Solmate is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. Information may be processed in countries where our providers operate, subject to applicable legal and contractual safeguards.
