01

Purpose of Google Sign-In

Solmate offers Sign in with Google as an optional way to authenticate in the iPhone app. Google Sign-In is used to create, access, secure, and support your Solmate account.

02

Google data we request

Solmate requests only the standard openid, email, and profile permissions. Depending on what is available in your Google account, this provides a stable Google account identifier, your name, email address, and profile picture.

  • Google account identifier
  • Email address
  • Display name
  • Profile picture, when available
03

Google data we do not request

Solmate does not request permission to access the content of Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, Google Photos, YouTube, payment information, location history, or other Google services.

04

How we use Google account data

  • Authenticate you and maintain your signed-in session
  • Create and identify your Solmate account
  • Protect the service against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
  • Respond to account-access and support requests
  • Display your chosen name or profile image within your account
05

Limited use and sharing

Google account data obtained for sign-in is not sold, used for targeted advertising, or used to train unrelated AI models. It is shared only with service providers acting on our behalf when necessary to operate authentication, security, hosting, and support, or when disclosure is legally required.

06

Storage and retention

We retain the account information needed to provide Solmate while your account remains active. We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or legal compliance. Data scheduled for deletion may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until the normal backup cycle completes.

07

Revoke access or delete your account

You can revoke Solmate’s Google access from your Google Account’s third-party connections page. Revoking access stops future Google authentication but does not automatically delete your Solmate account. To delete the Solmate account and associated data, use the in-app deletion option or follow our public Account & Data Deletion instructions.
